Vape Kits for Prisoners

There has been a lot in the news recently about prisoners receiving free vape pens. With the BBC reporting more than £100,000 already spent on vape kits for prisoners in Scotland.

Although this seems like a huge spend, it would likely reduce the costs of smoke related illnesses being treated and therefore offset against the health spending bill.

This is also only an initial spend, with inmates reportedly having to fork out for the kits and eliquid themselves after April this year. Lets hope they have access to our wide range!

The initiative has been introduced due to a nationwide smoking ban in prisons. A ban that has seen an 80% increase in the air quality inside the facilities, which will be a benefit to all those that both reside and work within the prison.
